Clearly the Alliance should boycott again.

This time let's get Horde nerfed to the point where the cave is brought back into the mountains at the bottom of the screen. At this point, the Horde will have to learn how to jump/go past the Mountains without the wall jump bug.

Hunter Taletn Build: Hunter 5/13/43

This build definitely falls into the "strange" category. You've all seen enough raid builds and leveling builds, time for something a bit different. Here's how Mr. X describes the build:

This Hunter idea just caught my attention, the ability to control 5 mobs, freeze trap, wait for cool down (24 seconds), wyvern sting pull, concussive shot another, one gets trapped, drop a trap for another, you pet tanks the last, 1 sleeping, 2 trapped, pop readiness, drop trap for the last, call pet back, wyvern sting the one it was fighting, relax a moment or two, back up, send pet in at first wyvern sting, let loose, then back to the second wyvern sting, trap cooldown should be up, retrap first ice block, fight the second ice block, have pet grab third ice block, mend pet, take out, and retrap the last ice block, step back, send in pet, let loose again. 5 mobs down, 1-2 minutes.

Alliance steals Horde's "Underdog" title?

If at all possible could someone direct me to a High Population Alliance server, most servers I come across, Horde greatly outnumbers Alliance. I've played Horde but it seems that a lot of the people I play with are fairly childish, I was hoping to slightly distance myself from these people, and my only hope is that the Alliance has become the "Underdog". The Horde used to be perceived as the side that more mature people rolled on, yet the Alliance was perceived to be the "Kiddy" side, it was assumed that people created characters on this side because they held the look of their character in greater regard than Racial, Numerical, Zonal, or Spacial advantages/disadvantages therein.

Mag is the culmination of t4, he takes all aspects of the learning curve and puts them together to be the first true test of all aspects of the raid. Lets face it Kara is a very well designed raiding tutorial that gives you the basics one encounter at a time all while giving you the gear necessary to progress to the first 25 man encounter, Gruul is nothing but a gear check to see if you are geared to progress 25 man and beyond.

Magtheridon brings it all together and is the first real 'raid boss', the pinnacle of t4. He is not a test of gear, he is not a one trick pony. He is the first skill test, and looking back not a magnificently hard one, really, handle some adds, click a cube on rotation, transition through a raid wide aoe bamo dead boss. Trained monkeys could do it.

-- First,I don't recommend scamming people. All the gold in Outland can't buy you out of a bad rep.

-- As the previous poster mentioned, Auctioneer/Beancounter addons (they work well together) help tremendously. Bottomscanner will help you find good deals on the AH.

-- I DE'd a lot of my crafted goods as the enchantment mats sell better on my server than the items themselves. So if you have to make 15 of some common item to up your skill, you don't have to vend them or sell them for next to nothing.

The problem is that the people on the other end have no clue what you're talking about. I think these kind of calls are a lot funnier when the person on the other end thinks it's a routine call. Getting a quotation from a tailor for the repair of a robe, all the while telling him how it was damaged when you were attacked by a load of boars in Elwynn Forest....asking a chemist for advice on going to BRD, explaining you want protection from the heat, asking for stats on what's offered ("factor 5 protection? I was advised by my party I'd need at least +30...")

From reading your post, I don't see how your friend could judge the game. From the sounds of it you have basically played it for him. I agree, sitting back doing nothing while someone else clears an instance is boring. If this truly is his first character then you are not doing him any favors running him through content or power leveling his character. QFT IMO you're kind of ruining the game for him by doing the above. IMO that type of leveling etc should be done on a second toon or alt. How many flight paths, zones, story lines, and quests has he missed out on now? Tons actually - and that's part of the game. Having a 70 level his toon through instance runs is entirely wayyyy too boring - I probably wouldn't still be playing if a friend helped my first toon in the way that you are helping him. It takes the fun out of the game. What about rep for faction rewards for his professions, mounts, the experience of finding new places, exploring the world, following long quest chains to new towns, zones, and content, remember that first skull mob you came across - that first elite too? Remember when you thought you were rich when you had 1G? Those moments are what he's not experiencing. By helping him in this way, you're actually taking that all away from him and taking a lot of the fun out of the game. If you want to help him - roll a toon his level and quest WITH him, get in level appropriate groups and run instances (you're stuck on your end game mentality and are forgetting the joy of obtaining that new blue that makes you so much more powerful and makes you think about it when you log for the evening heck you even got him the new epic ring), do level appropriate quests, play the game WITH him not FOR him. Heck he's not even learning how to properly play his character or how to perform properly within a group. IMO a big part of the fun is actually the leveling up process and the quest chains, instances, etc.

that is my lock im leveling, i got the necrosis down in the bottom and i keep ktm up bc it shows my aggro vs my pets this is my warrior atm, slightly dif set up. no need for ktm when im not in a party, and of course no necrosis :P you cant see it, but between the 2 unit frames it also shows who my target is attacking, that way i can tell when i loose aggro bc they stop targeting me

I play the way you play

Kasal, I play the way you play. Instances do take too long for me. I have a family, and other time committments, and can't devote several uninterupted hours to playing. I have done a few instances recently, but I have dealt with a few people who I really wanted to cuss out, which makes it less fun. If my guild grows enough that we can do instances with just people we know, I could see doing it. But not with strangers. I only do group quests if someone is posting in general chat for a quest I currently need. I never look for help. I have actually had good luck with finding nice players this way. Frequently we only form a party for a few minutes, complete the quest, then go our separate ways. The great thing about WoW is that you have so many options on how to enjoy the game. There are so many different ways to go about it that it has appeal to a wide variety of players. I've never tried BGs or Arenas, simply because the PvP holds no appeal to me. I rolled a toon on a PvP server, and he has been parked at lvl 36 for about a year. I couldn't stand world PvP.
